Feaster Charter DELAC Committee
At Feaster Charter School, we believe in uplifting every student’s voice and ensuring that our multilingual learners have the support they need to thrive. Our District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) is an elected group of parents/caregivers, families, and staff who come together each month to focus on the academic success and well-being of our multilingual learners.
The purpose of this committee is to accelerate the learning of and cultivate opportunities for English Language Learners at Feaster through programs and services that directly support our multilingual population.
As part of DELAC, members:
- Provide input on school programs, services, and resources that benefit multilingual learners.
- Collaborate with school leadership to strengthen communication and family engagement.
- Advocate for equitable opportunities to ensure every student can succeed academically and socially.
- Share feedback and ideas that influence school-wide decisions aligned with our mission to serve our diverse community.
By meeting monthly, DELAC provides a consistent space where families can contribute to Feaster Charter School by building strong pathways of success for our students.
